In Spain Pat Tate is seen driving a 1980s Mercedes SL with a number plate on the front and rear on route to a villa. In a later scene he pulls up at a villa and the same car has no front number plate.
Right at the start of the film when Pat picks up Kenny, there is a brief shot of them driving when Pat is sitting in the right hand side seat. the rest of the time, Pat is in the left hand side seat.
In one of the scenes in Marbella one of the dealer associates of Pat beat up a punter who owes them money and throw him in the swimming pool,stating "he fancies himself as a gerbil,rats don't like water".This is of course untrue as rats need a daily source of water in order to survive.
When the scene where Pat Tate reverses a Jaguar XJ6 3.4 into a policeman in a police Rover SD1 2600S he damages both cars. The scene is set in the late 80s and the cars are period. But in the background is a red 2002 Land Rover Freelander. Also at the point of impact the Police Officer is not in the vehicle.
At 1 hour 19 Minutes as the male is exiting the food establishment, just before being punched and placed into the Range Rover, a green Food Hygeine Rating sticker can be seen on the door to the cafe. These were not introduced until 2010, some 20 odd years after the events of the film are set.
