"The Huntingtans: Chewing Gum and Love Affairs" is a 6-minute black-and-white film from this year that features some of Germany's most known actors, such as Lau, Haase and Ramadan and a couple more where I have heard the names already too. It was written and directed by Sergej Moya, a German actor himself, and I must say I have seen some stuff by Moya (before and in front of the camera) and I liked almost none of it. But I did like this one here somewhat. He turned original idea by the Kilian Kerner into a decent script. It says drama here on IMDb, but I personally see it as a comedic parody that only seems to take itself seriously and does not really. It became clear at the homosexual reference too. This makes a bit fun of the mini-series about family companies and tragedies that are put into a massive frame of three hours or even more. As such, I enjoyed it, but I am still glad it was pretty short because it is basically one joke only from start to finish and may have gotten repetitive around the 10-minute mark.
