Never gets old
"The Dream" was already the name of an episode. Of course, it wouldn't make any sense to use that same name in this context because it would be "The Dreams". That's just lazy episode titling. I'm vaguely reminded of the episodes of "Adventure Time" where they show things happening to various characters. This episode had it in the most extreme way as a DOZEN characters had a brief scene associated with them. My only complaint is that Penny wasn't featured, not even in the opening with the minor characters! It's great to see everyone get mad with the Moon at the end.
This episode features most of the citizens of Elmore having dreams. Some of them are nightmares, while others are just goofy and nonsensical, much like the show itself. Gumball starts off with some great slapstick that just keeps going and going and makes for a great punchline. I think my favorite might be Soosie. Her nightmare was that she was in a green screen room attached to the body of an actress. The show has probably never been as meta as that! It's weird because I heard someone on the show claim Soosie was her favorite character. I think she's the only one to not have an episode devoted to her! Someone make an online petition! ****
