The original Fox’s ‘X-Men’ film series cast is the cast that we will associate with some of the most popular Marvel characters in years to come. If you think about Storm it’s impossible not to conjure up images of Halle Berry, or associate Patric Stewart with Charles Xavier.
Famke Janssen, the actress behind the iconic Jean Grey portrayal is still the best live-action Jean Grey, despite Sophia Turner also portraying the character in the latter installments.
With ‘Deadpool 3’ release looming on the horizon and all the various rumors associated with former X-Men characters making a big comeback for Deadpool’s first foray into the MCU, it’s impossible not to wonder whether Famke will make an appearance as Jean Grey as well.

The original cast of Fox’s ‘X-Men’ films will forever be linked with some of Marvel’s most beloved characters. When you think of Storm, Halle Berry immediately comes to mind, and Patrick Stewart is synonymous with Charles Xavier. Famke Janssen, who played the iconic Jean Grey, remains the definitive live-action portrayal, even though Sophie Turner took on the role in later films.
As the release of ‘Deadpool 3’ approaches and rumors swirl about former X-Men characters returning for Deadpool’s MCU debut, fans can’t help but speculate if Famke will reprise her role as Jean Grey too.
The actress herself commented on the rumors in her interview with Screengeek.

Gathegi will play Carl, an intense bureaucrat and loyalist of De Niro’s former U.S President George Mullen.
Falling under a deal between Netflix and Newman’s Grand Electric Productions, Zero Day asks the question, how do we find truth in a world in crisis, one seemingly being torn apart by forces outside our control? Apple Orders Drama Series ‘Last Frontier’ Starring Jason Clarke From Jon Bokenkamp, Richard D’Ovidio
Apple has given a series order to the drama “The Last Frontier” with Jason Clarke set to play the lead role, Variety has learned.
The series hails from creators Jon Bokenkamp, who previously created the hit NBC series “The Blacklist,” and Richard D’Ovidio, who previously worked with Bokenkamp on the 2013 film “The Call” as well as on “The Blacklist” and “The Blacklist: Redemption.”
In the 10-episode series, Clarke will star as US Marshal Frank Remnick, the lone Marshal in the barrens of Alaska. Per the official logline, “Frank’ s jurisdiction is turned upside-down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates. Bokenkamp, D’Ovidio, and Clarke all serve as executive producers on the show.

Eggold will play Ed Ramsey. The character is said to have “humble Midwest roots that are the core of his irresistible charm, but he’s got elbows sharp enough to carve out space in the elite social and political circles of DC and New York. Exclusive: After expanding one popular long-running procedural drama, The Rookie, with a planted spinoff for next season, ABC is looking to do it for another, The Good Doctor with an embedded episode. I hear the network is developing legal offshoot The Good Lawyer, from The Good Doctor executive producers/co-showrunners David Shore and Liz Friedman, Sony Pictures TV and Shore’s studio-based Shore Z Prods. The Blacklist Season 8 is officially set at NBC, which has renewed the veteran crime thriller series in spite of the proverbial circling vultures of cancelation.
Yes, the increasingly circuitous saga of The Blacklist is confirmed to continue for at least another season, presumably extending its life into the 2020-2021 season. The move continues the ongoing saga of enigmatic antihero “Concierge of Crime,” Raymond Reddington (James Spader), the world’s most-wanted criminal who – unbeknownst to the general public – enjoys an immunity deal with the F.B.I. in exchange for leads about his vast array of criminal contacts (the titular Blacklist), frequently shadowed by special agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), who, as revealed later in the series, happens to be the daughter he conceived with a deadly Russian spy.

Both Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown have been cast in the Showtime drama pilot “Yellowjackets,” Variety has learned.
They join previously announced cast member Melanie Lynskey, whose casting was exclusively reported by Variety earlier in October.
The project tells the story of a team of talented high school girls soccer players who survive a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to warring, cannibalistic clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later.
Cypress and Brown will play the adult and teen versions of Taissa repsectively. In her youth, Taissa was the star player on the Yellowjackets squad. Now, 25 years later, her political ambitions threaten to derail the survivors’ pact of secrecy.
Cypress’ past TV credits include shows such as “Heroes,” “The Blacklist” and “The Blacklist: Redemption,” “Supergirl,” “House of Cards,...

Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable) and Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers) have been cast as series regulars in Showtime’s drama pilot Yellowjackets, from writers Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), Entertainment One and studio-based producer Drew Comins. The pilot, co-produced by eOne and Showtime, goes into production in Los Angeles this fall.
Written by Lyle and Nickerson, Yellowjackets is equal parts survival epic, horror story and coming-of-age drama and relates the narrative of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to warring, cannibalistic clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.

Well, holy hell. Can we just fast forward to The Blacklist Season 7 already?
There were plenty of surprises on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 22, but none as shocking and surprising as the Katarina Rostova reveal.
After all of the events of The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21, I was sure I had it all figured out.
Boy, was I wrong.
Even during this hour when Red was sitting with that friend of his at the beach, I was convinced that Red was Katarina and the man was the real Ilya.
The way they were talking about their childhood, and Red saying how much he loved this guy sold me on the Red is Katarina story.

Happy Wednesday, "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. Unfortunately, we've got some pretty bad, but not terrible news for you guys today. It turns out that CBS decided not to air a new episode of the "Bold And The Beautiful" today in light of former President George H.W. Bush's funeral. CBS thought it would be a better idea to just cover the funeral right when the Bold And The Beautiful was supposed to air. Then they went right back to normal programming right when "Bold And The Beautiful" would've ended. They love putting "Bold And The Beautiful" on the back burner when any kind of special news report comes out. Anyways, we're guessing that they will air the December 5, 2018 episode tomorrow, December 6,2018. For those of you who missed our teaser report on that yesterday, CBS' teaser description for it reads like this: "Manipulating the situation, Pam distracts Quinn while Donna...

And the Emmy nominations announcer jobs go to … Samira Wiley and Ryan Eggold. The Television Academy said today that The Handmaid’s Tale co-star and lead of the upcoming medical drama New Amsterdam will read the list of nominees for the 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on July 12.
Television Academy Chairman and CEO Hayma Washington will join Wiley and Eggold at the nominations ceremony, which will stream live on Emmys.com.

Even though The Blacklist TV show's ratings have dropped significantly each year, NBC still renewed it for a fifth season. Meanwhile, the spinoff -- The Blacklist: Redemption -- was cancelled after just one installment. At the end of this season, the original series should have well over 100 episodes in the can -- more than enough for an attractive syndication package. Is this the end of the road for the Concierge of Crime? Will The Blacklist be cancelled or renewed for season six? Stay tuned. An action thriller, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Kattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, and Hisham Tawfiq. The NBC crime drama centers on one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, Raymond "Red" Reddington (Spader). He offers to help the authorities, if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Boone) partners with him. In season five, Red is in...

The Blacklist season 6 has returned to NBC, and we've got the trailer and other information about the upcoming episodes.
As The Blacklist season 6 moves the show to a new Friday time slot, the story of Raymond Reddington (James Spader) and his continued deception of Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) begins to dig even deeper into the enigmatic "concierge of crime." Reddington has had his ups and downs over the past several seasons, but viewers should be prepared to see him at a new low as the sixth run begins.
Unfortunately, there’s a generalized rule of thumb in network television scheduling: Friday nights tend to be death slots (with CBS procedurals being the exception). Indeed, this is not exactly an auspicious move for former NBC breakout smash The Blacklist, especially after its dip in ratings and the network’s (atypical) delay for the show’s most recent season renewal.

The 2018-19 TV season is officially underway: NBC has handed out a series order to the medical drama New Amsterdam, TVLine has learned.
New Amsterdam (formerly known as Bellevue) stars Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist) as Dr. Max Goodwin, the medical director of an aging and understaffed hospital — “the only one in the world capable of treating Ebola patients, prisoners from Rikers and the President of the United States under one roof,” according to the official description. We have the first official pilot-to-series order this upfront season. NBC, the first network to present its fall schedule on May 14, has picked up its medical drama New Amsterdam (fka Bellevue), which comes from sister studio Universal TV.
NBC has yet to renew the bulk of its current drama series, including all four Dick Wolf shows. The youngest of them is medical drama Chicago Med, now in its third season. New Amsterdam’s pickup brings up questions whether it might take Chicago Med’s spot as NBC’s flagship medical drama, though the network has had multiple medical series at the same time before, including Chicago Med and The Night Shift, the latter of which never had a full-season September-May run.

The following Q&A contains major spoilers for The Blacklist‘s Season 5 premiere. Proceed with caution.
The Blacklist giveth, and The Blacklist taketh away.
In the span of just a few months, Tom Keen has gone from leading his own spinoff series to possibly taking a dirt nap courtesy of Raymond Reddington. (And that’s to say nothing of his significant mommy issues.)
Though Tom didn’t have much screen time in Wednesday’s Season 5 premiere, he did make a crucial appearance at the end of the episode, and it dealt a potentially devastating blow to fans of Liz Keen’s baby daddy.

The Blacklist is leaning into the chaos.
NBC’s crime caper returns for its fifth season on Wednesday, and Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) is starting anew -- sort of. With his resources depleted, Red begins the new season going with the flow, taking smaller jobs than usual and surprisingly enjoying what life throws his way. But he'll soon encounter a major problem: The suitcase containing skeletal remains, currently in Tom Keen's (Ryan Eggold) possession, is a secret Red doesn't want his daughter, Liz (Megan Boone), to be aware of.
“While season four was dramatically fun, it became awfully dark and that’s where the story needed to go. It felt like we had an opportunity coming out of that -- Red’s empire is decimated, he’s lost the closest people who were in his organization -- to re-imagine the landscape of the show, in terms of how much fun we have,” creator [link=nm...
