This is one of the many extras on the Ultimate 2 Disc Edition DVD version of Iron Man. It's 47 minutes in total. It's split into 6 parts, and is made up of interviews with those who worked on the comic, and panels from them. Everyone brings something worthwhile to the table.

Origins, 8 and a half minutes. Stan Lee explaining how he came up with the idea, how much fan mail they got - almost all of it from girls, and why he thinks that is. He talks about the design changing so much. Artist Gene Colan talks about drawing him, and getting expression out of this very limited face. Writer Gerry Conway talks about what he felt he added.

Friends and Foes, 3 minutes. Conway talks about how the villains tend to be very specific to the Cold War. He goes into The Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. Tom Breevort adds to it.

The Definitive Iron Man, 5 and a half minutes. John Romita Jr. talks about the pressure. Bob Layton talks about making the suit look functional, and Dr. Doom being the antithesis to Tony.

Demon in a Bottle, 1 minute. The iconic story is gone into.

Extremis and Beyond, 25 and a half minutes. When this came out, they didn't know that aspects of this would go into the third film. Breevort, Ellis, Adi Granov, Joe Casey, Joe Quesada, Dan and son Charles Knauf, as well as Patrick and briefly 8-year-old daughter Genevieve Zircher(she likes Iron Man. He's cool) talk about this very different idea, whether or not it's still true to the original concept, the characters, the tech and how it defines his rogues gallery(in the case of The Mandarin, them being opposites of each other), and more.

Ultimate Iron Man, 4 minutes. Ellis talks about Mark Millar's take on Tony. Closing out, Quesada, Casey and others talk about the core of Iron Man.

I recommend this to any fan of the movie. 8/10
