Character name error

"Tim Watkins" played by Josh Duvendeck, is tagged as "Taylor Watkins" in the cast credits, yet he introduced himself as "Tim" and his boss also called him "Tim" not "Taylor".

Recovery time is important!
siboz200521 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Doctors do not just make up that people need time to recover from serious injuries and to rehabilitate.

If TV shows could stop acting like recovery time is optional and that everybody can just ignore medical recommendations because going to work is apparently more important it would be very helpful.

Yeah, everyone likes Hodgins, he's a nice guy, but can we not act like absolutely nobody else in their entire professional network would be able to check the pocket of a corpse and find a necklace.

He is easy to temporarily replace while he recovers. I have not watched any further episodes at the time of writing this review... but if he ends up magically recovering from his paralysis after a while... like Wendal magically did from his incredibly rare and fatal cancer... then I honestly give up with this show. This show has become increasingly unbelievable and unrealistic over time but when the show is supposed to be all about science, suggesting that whether or not he jas hope is what will decide whether he can walk again rather than the fact that his nerve endings have been destroyed is just beyond stupid.

Edit... I have now completed the entire series and well done to the show for not having Hodgins recover from his paralysis.

The most ignorant things Bones every said
letiamj-950884 November 2020
Bones stated Christ probably would not have been able to go to law school because of His low socioeconomic status. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Bones an orphan in foster care? She probably went to college and graduate school via scholarships, grants and fellowships. So if Christ was alive in modern times and if He was "poor" then He could have earned the same rewards. Her character is so irritating and pompous most of the times. I don't understand why most people don't say anything to her. I really was liking Oliver and a few of the others that were.

Let's Get Real
Hitchcoc21 March 2023
First of all, let's get Hodgins out of the way. Apparently, it has been eight weeks since the guy has been put in a wheel chair with a paralytic spinal condition. It's Booth's view that he should immediately head for work. For God sake. I had an injury much less serious that this and kept out of commission for three months. And I didn't worry about movement. The spine is a delicate thing. To put aside the possibility of healing so you can be a macho man is absurd. When he is stable, he gets to go back, right. He is a young man with years ahead in many possible capacities, including his old job with physical modifications. Then we have Brennan. Can she ever learn to not correct people, using her master "science." How can you be any kind of anthropologist with so little understanding of how people function. She's an automaton. And Booth and his know-it-all view of the world. He and Aubrey do the same thing. In all their interrogations, there is usually only one perpetrator. Yet they treat everyone they talk to like dirt (most of whom are perfectly innocent). How many times have seen that big jerk walk into some setting where people are working, where they need to finish something, and he sticks that badge in their faces. Oh, my god, you were a sniper! Well, I guess that gives you the right to treat people any way you want. That black man who they interviewed told them what they were doing. I did time so i'm the suspect. Booth has not grown one bit from the start of the series till this time.

The Victim Competition Begins
PartialMovieViewer27 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The two main stars are great and I always enjoy their interactions. I know Fox was up to financial shenanigans with the 2 - but stop with the lame politics and the afternoon-soap scripts. I got hurt, wait look at me, I got hurt worse and Hodgins gets hurt the worse of all. This was a light-hearted show and I really loved Bones and Booth. The support team needs to stay in the shadows. I don't care about Cam's love life, or any of the others' little side tear jerking tales of woe is me. The worst is Hodgins, milking his paralysis - come on. From light hearted, fast paced crime drama, to dark sad-storiathon. New writers are needed.
