I hated to see it end

Warning: Spoilers
This show is the most heart-warming, sweet, and likable bit of fluff I've ever come across. The characters are off-beat and lovable. The scenery, cinematography, and music are fantastic.

Although there aren't a lot of laugh-out loud moments, I think that I had a smile on my face through all 12 episodes (I haven't found the Christmas special yet). Simon and Garfunkel have never been more villainously hilarious.

If you have enjoyed LARS AND THE REAL GIRL, TWIN PEAKS, GREEN ACRES, PETTICOAT JUNCTION, or THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN, you owe it to yourself to check this out.

Its nice to think that there is a Mayberry across the pond.

A great end to series 2.

Becky looks set to move to Botswana with Stanley. With Peter, Simon and Garfunkel out of the frame, the team set to work on the land.

A truly fine end to the second series, the usual balance and unique blend of humour and drama, we have several laughs, and several moving scenes to enjoy, that moment where Lance and Sheila chatted on the bench was first rate.

That was some twist with Peter, he began as such a nice, sweet guy, that turned pretty dark fairly quickly.

I think best of all, was that we finally got to see some closeness between Andy and Becky, the fair finally settling some of their differences, and reaching a decision that didn't seem to involve one forcing the other into submission.

We even get left with something of a cliffhanger, it now seemed certain that Andy and Becky will leave.

9/10.
