This movie changed my life
Violence in the City changed my life. It kept me from my inevitable life of crime and street violence. Tom Fassler may not have been able to run, hit or even think, but he was a damn fine movie maker. Tom Fassler's youngest wayward daughter and I favored roaming city streets, but this movie struck fear in our young hearts. After seeing Violence in the City, we kept our escapades mostly in the county. We drove the Plymouth Horizon with less abandon...except for that one time we drove it into a snow embankment and all four wheels were off the ground. I have never known a movie maker like Tom Fassler. I measure all movie makers by his example.
