The sex scene was the first one shot for the film. The action was improvised in one single long take by actress Ingrid Bonini, actor Maico Silveira and director Ulisses Da Motta, who was operating the camera. The take was later chopped in numerous bits and reassembled in editing.
The idea for the sex scene that looks like a ballet in the movie's opening came from Ingrid Bonini. During the rehearsals she and Maico Silveira had an exercise that consisted in not letting the partner get up. The result was kind of a dance, and she suggested to director Ulisses Da Motta to incorporate that in the film.
No equipment for artificial lighting was used during the shooting. All the scenes were shot at magic hour.
According to director Ulisses Da Motta, this was the only movie he did without a shooting script. The entire shooting was improvised on set.
Editor Alfredo Barros was supposed to work in this movie, reprising the collaboration with director Ulisses Da Motta in Kassandra (2013). However, he lost his interest in editing short films and called Felipe Iesbick to share the job. In the end, Iesbick edited the entire film, without Barros' participation.
