Interesting insights into Cancer in the USA
lusciousmuffins11 November 2017
This film certainly is not for everyone as the subject matter is depressing at best. That being said, the exploration of terminal cancer is something that will certainly resonate with anyone who has had to navigate cancer diagnosis and treatment within the American medical system. While I can't say this is the best example of this type of documentary, National Geographic does a solid job framing the decision making of a woman who chose her own path when addressing her illness. As you follow her story not everyone will agree with the decisions she made, but that really was for me the crux of the film.

So long as you get emotionally attached to the woman who is the focus of the film, it will impact you and make you think, which is precisely what a documentary is supposed to do.
