- A woman removes her top and bare breasts are shown for an extended period of time, more than once. Again, male nudity is successfully avoided. Main characters have pretty graphic sex, no nudity.

- Man unexpectedly punched by another man giving him a bloody lip, followed by the man falling to the ground and being kicked in the chest while he's down, man's face shown close up bloody and battered while the assault continues. He says later, "I got the sh't kicked out of me but it was worth it."

- Caleb kisses Hawk on the lips in a restroom. In later episodes the kissing becomes more frequent and they talk about having a relationship. Hawk says he's not gay he just likes who he likes. Caleb says he's homosexual and briefly talks about his experiences with another man that attends the same church as Caleb.
Violence & Gore
- Man commits suicide by gunshot to the head in front of Sarah. Man puts the gun in his mouth, a loud gunshot is heard followed by gruesome tissue and blood splattering on the window behind him and the bullet hole shown in the window. The mans blood and tissue splatter across Sarah's face with her standing there motionless and in shock. The man is shown laying face up on the floor with a large amount of blood pooling on the floor underneath his head.
- An earthquake interrupts a cult group meeting in a building. When the earthquake stops everyone leaves the building. Eddie stops to help a pregnant woman leave the building. He's shown miraculously "saving" or protecting her as they're consumed by a large fireball from a large natural gas explosion that occurs after the earthquake. When him and the woman exit the building the many people outside that already escaped kneel down in front of him as he exits the building.
- Two cult members are shown walking through a wooded area. They come upon two rabbits that were skinned and hanging dead from a tree. The cult members discuss this and think the rabbits were killed to intimidate them. An outsider says he killed the rabbits because he was hungry.
