Marriott Content Studio now boasts two official short films to its name. The digital studio owned by hotel chain Marriott International released its second short film French Kiss on May 19, 2015.
Produced by Sander/Moses Productions & Slam, French Kiss stars Tyler Ritter as Ethan, a workaholic American in Paris for a speaking engagement at a tech conference. While Ethan focuses only on preparing his speech, a mysterious, maybe-imaginary woman Margaux (played by French model and actress Margot Luciarte) has other plans. Margot steals Ethan’s laptop, and convinces him to follow a string of clues throughout the city to discover its magic and adventure. In the end, Ethan finds out if Margaux is real, and is reminded that travel time shouldn’t be wasted on work.
David Beebe, Vice President of Creative and Content Marketing at Marriott International, said in a release French Kiss is about more than just a business traveler in Paris.

Register this: When writer/director John Gray was asked by his old pals at Sander Moses Productions to go to Paris and make a short film about romantic fantasy and international travel (“They had me at Paris,” Gray said), the one thing everyone knew in advance was where they’d be holding the premiere. “French Kiss” will have its debut tonight, replete with red carpet and after-party, at the Marriott Marina Del Rey, the insouciant fantasy having been produced for Marriott Content Studios. Starring Tyler Ritter and French ingénue Margot Luciarte, it marks the corporation’s latest foray into the production of films to be launched on a variety of online platforms including the hotel chain’s website, and for which the company is willing to expend the money necessary to create polished product avec special effects. (A previous effort, “Two Bellmen,” had an estimated budget of $200,000. And about 5 million hits on YouTube.

Ethan finally starts to experience the joys of Paris instead of worrying about work, but whether or not Margaux is real or just a muse remains to be seen.
