Feel the Wind
westsideschl24 November 2019
DVD: No menu; no subtitles for English. Kabul 2013; mother, "My hope is not only for my daughter, but for all the people of Afghanistan, especially for the girls & women, to be free to stand on their own feet." Female cyclist, "I don't have the freedom to ride my bicycle outside any time I want or to go outside at all."

The Taliban came with forced marriages, underage marriages, & honor killings; a girl could be killed just for riding a bicycle. Very, very brave of the families that support the cyclists given the harassment & risk of death (Farkhunda).

The US president seems not to respect women's rights, & our democratic foundation whether w/the Kurds or Afghans. However he is monetarily supportive of his authoritarian "good friends" Russia's Putin, China's Xi Jinping, & accommodating to the Taliban. Note: if they come to power on their infidels' list is to kill girls that ride bicycles
