- The last part of the episode contains a large battle in which the rebels charge the army. Detailed short burst violence in which the main characters are mercilessly killing and being killed. Including slicing, hacking, clubbing to death.
- During the battle a wounded soldier's nose is hacked off with a sword in the background by a main character. This is short with blood spurting. The terrified look of the victim and his screams make this very effective.
- During the battle in a short sequence the main character swings his sword hitting a soldier in the head. The skull cracks open (we see bones at his temple flap) and his eye flies out of his socket (eye, muscle, nerv). Blood, tissue and bone fragments spurt. Sequence is short. Later on the background the presumably same soldier is seen crawling and wailing holding his eye wound. Very effective and realistic.
- As the battle concludes the injured are seen crawling, crying and dying. The scene is meant to be sad. We see a soldier in shock holding his arm stump that has been hacked off (complete with bones, muscle and skin tissue hanging in flaps on his blood drenched uniform). The camera lingers quite a bit as it slowly reveals the injury.
- After the battle the winners and among them sympathetic and ambivalent main characters happily and mercilessly euthanize injured enemy soldiers even as they plea for help. One notable instance happens after an argument a main character has with a severely wounded soldier that originally asked for help.
- At a hospital a main character treats the battlefield injuries. Low level screaming and wailing throughout. However this is quite toned done. A main character stitches a long and deep cut. Camera lingers on the treatment. No blood is flowing. Another character dies of internal hemorraghing. This is sudden, surprising and very sad.
