Andy's television woes escalate.

Andy is reeling after Becky's decision to go to her mum's, he's convinced by everyone to do what he can to get her back, even if it's just to get the television back on.

What an incredibly rich show this is, I kick myself for not watching it when it was first transmitted, it has so much to it, it's funny, it's interesting, but the characters are just fizzing with life, and their stories are just fascinating.

More evidence of the bittersweet nature of the show once again, you can't help but feel sorry for poor Becky,

The outrageous laugh came with the discovery at The Field, what an outrageously funny moment, that came out of nowhere, so funny.

8/10.

Andy and Becky are still estranged as she is now staying with her mum.

Andy and Lance are effectively ditto, with Andy in limbo of where he stands. Lance is still being a prat trying to blame everyone else but himself.

Lance is still being a soft touch with his ex Maggie, helping her out in her shop and with her tapping him up for dosh.

Simon & Garfunkel turn up at Bishops Farm gloating, about what to them is Good News regarding the permission to detect there.

The DMDC are leaderless and despondent until Tel arrives, and decides to rescind his decision regarding the Club Presidency.

Andy phones Becky in desperation to win her back but, he doesn't sell the offer very well instead sounding absolutely pathetic.

Andy and Lance are back together as they head over to take a recce of Bishops Farm, but this time only in the capacity of onlookers.

According to Bishop a body has been found and the police become involved, Bishop's wife had gone missing years before and Bishop becomes a suspect in her murder.

Episode 5

It is confession time. Andy and Lance are bystanders as their rivals are on Bishop's farm.

It could be the end of the DMDC. No one wants to be the club president.

Meanwhile Andy is lost without Becky. Lance is being sponged by his ex wife for money.

Lance lets slip that he came into money with a lottery win. Sophie deliberately befriended Andy and Lance. She was working for Simon & Garfunkel.

The fightback starts with Terry reclaiming the presidency again. There is a turn up at Bishop's farm as the police descend.

Gentle and bittersweet. Mackenzie Crook is not afraid to make Andy look pathetic as he cannot turn on the television.

Sophie's treachery came as a surprise.
