That took an interesting turn.

Having been blown up, Terry decides to stand down from his presidency, leaving the field open, Andy is up for it, Becky isn't quite so happy, dreaming instead of a holiday abroad.

Not just subtle and funny, this episode adds another layer, a little bit of Intrigue and mystery, I am so keen to find out who sent that package, and who was behind the screen, what was the motive.

This one really does focus on the relationships and dynamics between the characters, this is the first time we got to see a fallout between Andy and Lance, the pair need one another, but seem to take one another for granted a little bit.

Becky and Sophie's clash was amusing, the pair really did loathe one another, and who can blame them, Andy is quite a piece of work, he's a real cad.

Maggie and Tony, I quite like them, they're an amusing duo.

Really did enjoy that, 8/10.

Terry the DMDC Club Chairman has been hospitalised, after the accident while detecting on Bishops Farm. Terry nominated Andy as the new Club Chairman, because he had decided to finally jack it in.

Andy goes detecting with Sophie she has a second hand detector, and can't wait to give it a go. Andy has a lucky find with Sophie, rewarding him with a plonker. They are being secretly observed and photographed.

Andy tells Lance all of his news who throws a strop, chucking his dummy out of the playpen. Lance peevishly decided to stand for the DMDC Presidency, as well as declaring a new Team of his own at the local pub Quiz Night.

2 Brewers Quiz Night and Lance's Team includes his ex Maggie and her new flame Tony. While Andy has his spouse Becky and Sophie, who he is determined that Becky should get on with.

Lance continues to behave like a spoilt brat sending Andy to Coventry, trying to blackmail him regarding the DMDC.

Becky and Sophie spar like over grown schoolgirls, with neither of them quite knowing the real reasons why.

On the way home Lance plotted his coup for the Leadership of the DMDC.

Becky and Andy chatted at home being interrupted by a knock on the front door, where Becky finds a delivery of a large photo. This stimulating Becky to a row and storms out jumping into her car.

Episode 4

With Terry in hospital after being blown up. The role of the new chairman is up for grabs.

Both Andy and Lance end up going for it. Lance is upset that Andy tried out his new metal detector without him. Worse he took. Out Sophie on Bishop's land . They found a gold coin.

Meanwhile Becky is pregnant and Andy does not yet guess despite Becky not drinking alcohol. She is even more upset when some photos are left outside the house.

As for Andy and Lance. They settle their differences at the pub trivia quiz night. Lance teams up with his ex wife Maggie and her boyfriend Tony. Luckily for him, Tony is red hot on trivia.

I have noticed more the overarching plot threads in this rewatch. I knew that Lance and Andy were hoping to find something big at Bishop's farm and the one-upmanship with rivals.

I missed the various relationship issues. Lance pining for Maggie. Andy being smitten with Sophie and not realising he has upset Becky. It stands out more this time around.
