Tiramisu for Two is a dark comedy in Italian and English about the connections and disconnections we establish in this very complex and yet silly world we live in.—Anonymous
- Tiramisu for Two is a comedy heavily spiked with Magical Realism that tells the interconnected stories of three different characters that are stuck in a police interrogation room in the middle of a wild Texas storm. One of them is Giorgio, a potential killer who speaks nothing but Italian. The second one is Sandra, a snappy sheriff who seems to be hiding just as much as the man she is trying to interrogate. The last one is TJ, a mediocre college student who thought he would spend the night with the woman of his dreams, and instead ended up having to use his crappy Italian to serve as translator, all while being under the spell of an ancient magic pipe. As the night progresses, reality and fiction become one, as we explore through the different twists and turns the sequence of events of that day that brought this unlikely trio together. Tiramisu for Two features an ensemble cast made up of actors and non actors from Central Texas. The film was shot independently over a period of two years in the very peculiar town of San Marcos, Texas, the fastest growing city in America of 2014.
