Read More: Santa Barbara International Film Festival Slate Features U.S. Premiere of Malick's 'Knight of Cups,' Much More Just before its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 6, the coming-of-age indie "Who's Driving Doug" has been acquired by FilmBuff. The company will release the film at the end of the month. Rj Mitte, best known as Walter "Flynn" White, Jr. on "Breaking Bad," plays the title role, an intelligent but sheltered college student with muscular dystrophy. He hires an underachieving classmate Steve (played by internet star Ray William Johnson), who takes him away from his overbearing mother (Daphne Zugina) and on a road trip to Las Vegas. Doug is swiftly introduced to a new world of drugs, gambling, and romance. "'Who's Driving Doug' is an important coming-of-age story from a different perspective, and I am incredibly proud of the film," said director.
