Earlier today, The Television Academy revealed the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards nominees. Succession emerged as the clear victor. The HBO Max comedy-drama TV series secured the leading position this year with an impressive 27 Emmy nominations. The Last of Us is closely behind, with 24 nominations, The White Lotus with 23, and Ted Lasso with 21.

During Netflix’s What’s Next Event, Rapman announced that production has now wrapped on his superpower series at Netflix ‘Supacell.’
With that announcement, Rapman also announced that Eddie Marsan is a part of the cast.

Ron Perlman, Nick Nolte, Charles Melton, and Tim Blake Nelson have all joined the cast of the upcoming Peacock series “Poker Face,” Variety has learned exclusively.
Perlman, Nolte, Melton, and Nelson join the show’s already expansive cast. Natasha Lyonne will lead the series, with previously announced cast members including: Adrien Brody, Audrey Corsa, Benjamin Bratt, Chloe Sevigny, Danielle MacDonald, Dascha Polanco, Ellen Barkin, Jameela Jamil, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judith Light, Lil Rel Howery, Niall Cunningham, Nicholas Cirillo, S. Epatha Merkerson, Simon Helberg and Tim Meadows.
Sources say will follow a procedural format and see Lyonne’s character working to solve different murders in each episode. Further details around the plot and the characters each actor will play are being kept under wraps.

Rian Johnson’s all-star whodunnit sequel Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is set to close the 2022 BFI London Film Festival.
The Netflix feature — starring Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista — will have its European premiere on Oct. 16 at London’s Royal Festival Hall, drawing the curtain on the 66th edition of the event, which will open with Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical on Oct. 5.
Johnson is expected to attend, alongside Craig, Norton, Monáe, Odom Jr., Hudson and Cline, with other names to be confirmed soon.
“I’m thrilled to be back at Lff with Glass Onion, and it’s an honor to be closing the festival,” said Johnson. “A proper whodunnit really does belong in London, so it feels a bit like coming home!”
