Maybe you've already had your fill of holiday programming, but this is when it gets serious.
With Christmas coming at midweek this year, that still leaves several days for networks to offer signs of the season ... some of which have been shown already this year but still are hugely appropriate for viewing. And maybe even more so, the closer to the actual holiday it gets.
Zap2it has selected a sampling of some of the home-screen gifts being presented in the coming days.
"The Wizard of Oz" (Sunday, Dec. 22, TNT): It had a 3-D and IMAX retrofitting recently, but there's something comforting about going "Over the Rainbow" with the Judy Garland-starring 1939 classic at home.
"Home Alone" (Sunday, AMC): Young Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) makes things tough for thieves (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) who invade his house in this 1990 family favorite.
"The Santa Clause" (Sunday, ABC Family): Tim Allen...

Damn it, Blake Shelton – why did you have to be so awesomely offensive in your Christmas special last year? Thanks to your side-splitting Claymation spoof with Larry the Cable Guy, in which you shot Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and incinerated Sam the Snowman, NBC must've been scared off. In your place, Kelly Clarkson gave us a boring, misguided and uneven hour of television that served as little more than a commercial for her new holiday album, Wrapped in Red. Look, I get that the Peacock network is on a singing-contest-winner...

The "Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale" was an ... interesting holiday special on NBC Wednesday (Dec. 11). We weren't really on board with the adorable-moppet-as-narrator schtick and the on-going sketches were hit and miss, but how can you go wrong with Clarkson singing classic holiday tunes?
You cannot.
Clarkson treated viewers to such gems as "Run, Run, Rudolph," "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music," "Please Come Home for Christmas," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Underneath the Tree," her new holiday song from "Wrapped in Red," Clarkson's Christmas album that just came out.
The highlight of the evening was most definitely the "Silent Night" as a trio with Clarkson, Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire. It was beautiful, absolute chills during the a capella section at the end. Video above in case you missed it.

The Kardashians are known for their glamorous holiday cards, but Kelly Clarkson is going for a decidedly different vibe for her family's first Christmas card. "Merry Christmas from the Blackstocks," Clarkson Tweeted Tuesday with a photo of herself, new husband Brandon Blackstock and Blackstock's two children from his first marriage, Savannah and Seth. In the photo, the new family - along with their two dogs - are wrapped in Christmas decorations and awkwardly stare at Santa Claus, who is seated next to them in front of a fire place."Since having an opportunity to be a loving stepmother, Kelly enjoys...

Santa Claus has his elves and Kelly Clarkson has her buddy Blake Shelton! The expecting country singer is hosting her first-ever holiday special for NBC on Wednesday night, titled Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale and is calling on some of her famous friends for a little help. Shelton's task? Well, it doesn't involve him lending his swoon-inducing vocals! In an exclusive promo for the highly anticipated special, The Voice coach is hard at work ironing and sewing Clarkson's clothes for the big event, which isn't exactly what he had in mind... Shelton's helping hand when it comes to Clarkson's special could be seen as repayment for Clarkson's stint as a...
