A personal case for Jack.
Sleepin_Dragon18 October 2019
It's a grim start, as a teenage girl's body is found in an open brave. It's a very bleak, dramatic start. The presence of Jack's brother makes this a very interesting, personal story. The pair would share some very good scenes.

Ashley Walters is fantastic as DI Carter, a very strong performance from him, a shame be never reappeared, although Top Boy would follow.

Series seventeen has been very strong, Commodity perhaps being my favourite of this run, Fraternity however is a solid conclusion.

Writer Graham Mitchell did a very good job, his first for Silent Witness, he's since written some great episodes, in the next series he'd write one of the best, Falling Angels.

Very good. 8/10

Brothers

A fifteen year old girl's body is found in a greave. The girl's family leads the forensics team back to Jack's brother who makes his appearance. There is another squeaky wheel. A guy who works for a big public medical corporation. There is suspicion from her family. Jack does everything he can to get his brother off the hook, but he is the prime suspect. Once again, one of the team has a personal stake in an episode. Of course, there is a death at the end of Part 1, just as there always seems to be.

The brother's white jumpsuit was zipped at first but then after looking at Jack, it wasn't. Numerous references to Ryan being married and her stepdad, but she said her mother's boyfriend.
