An American astronaut during the most exciting and dangerous decade of space flight, Cernans career spanned the entire Gemini and Apollo space programs. He is also famously known to have left man's last footprint on the Moon as the commander of Apollo 17. Cernan shares his fears, love and the sacrifice he had to make to be part of space-travel history.
