First of all I would like to say that I have nothing against the New LP, I think those who keep nagging to them to come back at their older forms (i.e. HT and Meteora) should realize that they want to create on their own ways and forms, but of course that does not mean they are ditching the rock genre they are still on the rock genre with Alt. Rock.

Now for the music video I think it's an interesting look on the post- apocalyptic world we see. For the mostly we see the fear of the people running but there's many awesome looks upon how everything gets destroyed and the foggy scenes actually makes it more epic.

The lyrics in my opinion gives a strong and potential feeling to how much damage we humans made. The music kind of gives a little feeling to the rock from the 80's if you hear closely to the guitar. Chester and Mike gives a powerful performance on their singing upon the doomed world they are witnessing.

Overall this music video is quite epic and has great experience upon the doomed world we see. Although I wish the music video were a little longer to match the original length of the song. And maybe it would've been nice with a scream from Chester somewhere at the bridge. I can tell you when I was on a concert and when they played The Catalyst Chester did give a scream in the bridge which made it even more epic.
