Paramount+ tends to lag in both Luminate and Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings, but came through with a No. 4 title for the April 26-May 2.
“Knuckles,” a limited series based on the “Sonic the Hedgehog” video games, debuted on the first day of this viewing period and was watched for 450 million minutes. Divided by the series’ 171-minute runtime, that translates to roughly 2.6 million views.
In terms of minutes watched, “Knuckles” placed behind “Fallout” on Amazon Prime Video and “Baby Reindeer” on Netflix, which held onto their No. 1 and No. 2 positions from last week with 817.8 million and 668.5 million minutes watched, as well as Netflix’s Spanish crime drama “The Asunta Case,” which debuted at No. 3 with 506.3 million minutes watched in its first full week of availability.
But when accounting for each series’ runtime, only “Baby Reindeer” outpaced “Knuckles,” hitting 2.8 million views while “Fallout” and “The Asunta Case” reached 1.7 milion and 1.6 million views,...

Home viewing charts inspire deja vu: “Anyone but You,” a hit as a PVOD release, just debuted at Netflix. It knocked out Netflix’s expensive “Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver” from first place after two weeks, falling to #6.
Similarly, “Dune: Part Two” returned for its second week as #1 at both iTunes (ranking by transactions) and Fandango (which calculates by revenue).
The “Dune” sequel fended off challenges by two recent theatrical releases. Dev Patel’s “Monkey Man” (Universal), once intended as a Netflix original, is #2 at iTunes, third at Fandango. The family-oriented “Arthur the King” (Lionsgate) took second at Fandango, but only #6 at iTunes. Both initially are available to rent for 48 hours for $19.99.
Two new home-play debuts also made top 10 lists. “Cash Out” (Saban) is #9 at iTunes, renting at $6.99; starring John Travolta, the critically reviled title may be getting as much attention for its little-known director Ives. That’s...

In recent years, doctors and scientists have studied the gut with renewed interest. Research has revealed that the digestive system is more than just a processing center for the food we eat, and that it has a much bigger effect on our overall health than previously thought. Issues as varied as stubborn weight gain and Parkinson’s disease can be linked to the gut, which means that understanding our digestive system — and, by extension, how it thrives or suffers based on what we eat — is crucial. In a new documentary, Hack Your Health: The Secrets of Your Gut, German doctor Giulia Enders partners with colleagues to explain how the gut works — and how to make it work for you.
For those who need a quick biology refresher: The food we eat travels from the esophagus to the stomach before moving onto the small intestine and then the large...

My biggest concern before watching Hack Your Health: The Secrets of Your Gut was: what if the documentary ends up making me feel miserable? Because of the title, it did seem like an extended version of one of those preachy health commercials, which do nothing but scare you about your own health. But Hack Your Health turned out to be much different and definitely better than that. It surely didn’t make me feel worried. In fact, I would say that the very informative documentary is actually a pleasant watch. Let’s take a closer look.
What Happens in the Documentary?
It was evident from the title that the documentary was going to be about the gut. Staying true to that, Hack Your Health doesn’t waste a minute to get into the point. It begins by telling the audience that the gut is much more than the organ from...
