The body of a woman is found inside a flat in London, The Police believe the body to be that of
Paula Jackson, who vanished about a year ago, but testing is needed to try and give her an identity.
Not as good as the previous two storylines, but a solid watch nonetheless, they were never going to maintain that exceptional standard. Very, very procedural, the storyline almost seemed to play second riddle to all the scientific gobbledegook.
Some grit, some tension, and one or two moments of excitement, just lacked the gravitas of the previous installments.
I recently researched Series 26, and I'm afraid my very low opinion of it hasn't changed, but one good thing that did come out of it, was the introduction of DI Sarah Torres, so I was really pleased to see her back. Nadine Marshall deserved a better storyline that she had in Familiar Faces, and this is exactly that, an improvement.
Wow, it's been a while since we saw Rod from The Bill, and he's still looking dishy all these years on.
Pretty good, hopefully Part two will be a little more dramatic.
7/10.
