I love the historical documentaries starring Lucy Worsley, a British history professor who manages to make everything interesting as well as seem like a very ordinary person...and I mean that very positively. However, the series "Fit to Rule: How Royal Illness Changed History" is the most disappointing series I've seen so far. Most of this is because the title sounds like it's all about the health of the monarchs...though this really is NOT what the show is about at all. Instead, it delivers a lot of interesting information...but in a very spotty manner. For example, this one skips Henry VII (the first of the Tudors) and barely mentions Elizabeth (though she was, by far, the most successful of the Tudors). Likewise, Charles II and James II are only mentioned in passing at the very end. Overall, worth seeing...but disappointing and disjoint.
