Victoria Grayson : [gasps] Charlotte. Oh, my, I wasn't expecting you for a couple of weeks.
[hugs her daughter, kisses her]
Charlotte Clarke : Well, apparently we no longer own property in Paris, which I loved discovering at 3 a.m. after chartering a car from Brussels.
Victoria Grayson : Darling, I'm sorry nobody told you, but the European market is very strong right now.
Charlotte Clarke : As is your stable boy, it seems.
-
Emily Thorne : I hope you didn't cut your trip short just so you could make my Memorial Day party.
Charlotte Clarke : No, I'm home because my lovely mother has left me no other monetary option.
Emily Thorne : Have you seen her?
Charlotte Clarke : Seen her? I almost caught Lady Chatterley with her lover.
Emily Thorne : Lover?
Charlotte Clarke : More like boy toy actually. I think he's even staying at the house.

Charlotte Clarke : [at South Fork Inn, Patrick comes out of the shower, to find unexpected visitor] I hope you don't mind if I let myself in.
[rises from the bed]
Charlotte Clarke : My family is paying for this suite after all.
Patrick Osbourne : [towel around his hips] What are you doing here?
Charlotte Clarke : Exactly what I was going to ask you. Though I guess I know what you were doing at my house.
Patrick Osbourne : Charlotte, you don't understand.
Charlotte Clarke : And when I tell my father about you, he'll squash you like a bug.
Patrick Osbourne : Your father knows I exist.
Charlotte Clarke : Who the hell do you think you are?
Patrick Osbourne : I'm your brother.
Charlotte Clarke : [whispers] What?
Patrick Osbourne : Patrick. I'm your brother.
Charlotte Clarke : Well, I guess it's typical. Daniel and I go away for a couple of months, and my mother buys our replacement.
Patrick Osbourne : And I'm sorry you have such a low opinion of your mother. She's been nothing but gracious, generous, kind.
Charlotte Clarke : [scoffs] Well, if you think... you're just gonna enjoy the perks without the misery, you're wrong. My mother will draw you in, then destroy you. It's what she does.
[as she leaves:]
Charlotte Clarke : And if she doesn't, I will.
Patrick Osbourne : Charlotte!
[but she's off, slamming the door]

Victoria Grayson : You have no idea what you've done.
Charlotte Clarke : Since you're obviously much happier with your other children, I'm moving out.
Victoria Grayson : Fine.
