Sex & Nudity

  • Drew (Darmirra Brunson) often wears tight clothes and short skirts on occasion, but nothing too revealing.
  • Hattie Mae is the dirtiest character on the show, often recalling past lovers and how she used to, quote, "drop the damn thing". Her tone and pronunciation can often mask some of the sexual innuendo, but it's usually clearly heard.
  • Uncle Floyd is also dirty, but to a lower degree. He mostly talks about his nephew possibly being gay because of his relationship with his roommate, and also sometimes about strippers and hookers.
  • Sam is the second dirtiest character in the show, often talking about his girls, or hoes, as he calls them. He also talks about other sexual innuendos, but nothing extremely perverted.

Violence & Gore

  • Grandma Hattie (Patrice Lovely) often threatens other characters with violence and weapons, and also hides bats and pistols around the house. Also, when Hattie is snuck up on, she will often jump and attempt to attack whoever snuck up on her.
  • During Madea's (Tyler Perry) special appearance over three episodes, she carries two bricks with a pistol after threatening to take out a character on the show.

Profanity

  • Many uses of "damn", "hell", "ass" and its derivatives (dumbass, smartass, crazy-ass, jackass) throughout the series, but nothing too strong. Hattie often gets close to saying s***, but other characters stop her before she gets the full word out.
  • Plenty of name-calling (dumb, scary tail, slow, girly butt, hoe, whore, etc.), but nothing too excessive.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Hattie (Lovely) and Floyd (Palmer Williams, Jr.) often talk about pot and weed, and Hattie admits to smoking weed sometimes, but that's about it.
  • Sam (Jonathan Chase), Danny (Andre Hall), Drew and Hattie talk here and there about drugs and alcohol, but that's the majority of it.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Hattie isn't very frightening, but her sentiments can be intense in emotion.
