Sex & Nudity

  • In La Couchette, two characters begin to have sex, but not that moderate.
  • In episodes La Couchette, The 12 Days of Christine, Zanzibar, Once Removed, To Have and to Hold, and The Referee's A W***er, men are seen in their underwear.
  • In episode 1 of series 1, There is frequent innuendo from Stewart.
  • There are references to sex, fingering, using lubricant and anal sex.
  • Stewart jokes that Colin is giving him a hand job.
  • A man is seen in very tight and sparse underpants.
  • There is a scene in which a man hides under a bed to find himself atop a male female hybrid sex doll. The breasts and penis of this doll are clearly visible, although not very convincing. To prevent the doll from making a noise whilst deflating, the man has to grasp the penis and cover the meatus. As the rest of the episode is pretty much free from scenes of a sexual nature and obscenities, parents wishing to avert their childrens eyes for this scene may note that it occurs just after a man finds a picture of him and his partner cracked.
  • In season 1 episode 6 a teenage girl is seen in bra and underwear

Violence & Gore

  • Two men are graphically shot in the head. Sudden.
  • A man has his neck grabbed and twisted, breaking it and killing him instantly.
  • A character is gagged and tied to a bed, then watches as a man in a mask enters with a machete. The man raises the machete and brings it down on their throat. The murder isn't actually seen, but is heavily implied.
  • A man is hit in the head and falls to the floor bleeding
  • A dog is thrown against a window and stabbed repeatedly with an umbrella.
  • A man's eyes are sprayed with what is presumably pepper spray.
  • A woman is rendered unconscious by a chloroform-like substance.
  • A man places chillies on his eyes.
  • A man contemplates killing himself, holding a gun to his mouth.
  • A woman is shot in the head as a pillow is pushed over her face. We never see what her face looks like after being shot, however we do see blood on the pillow.
  • A large suitcase is dropped on a man's head, presumably killing him.
  • Two men are shot in the head, a lot of blood is seen on a window.
  • episode;3 a man is seen dead in a bath
  • episode 5 : a woman is seen slitting her wrists

Profanity

  • Profanity including f**k and s**t is in most episodes (but not all) and used with moderate frequency.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Stewart admits to using poppers.
  • A few characters consume alcoholic drinks.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The episode to have and to hold is highly disturbing.
  • episode 4 :the concept is quite disturbing of a man killing another man for his breath to sell on eBay
  • episode 5;a woman is seen killing her self
  • episode 6 :the most disturbing episode of the series when the demon of mischief is seen

Sex & Nudity

  • In To Have and to Hold, the two main characters do very uncomfortable roleplay.
  • Episode 1: Subject matter of sexual assault.
  • It is implied that Andrew molested a boy.

Violence & Gore

  • Two people are standing by a window when one of them is suddenly shot through the back of the head, causing blood to splatter onto the window. The second person begins to turn around but is shot in the head as well, the bullet exiting out of their temple.
  • A character with DID enters one of her personas and attacks the man who killed her parents, murdering him by stabbing him multiple times in the stomach.
  • A character is killed by repeated blows to the head with a trophy.
  • A sniper fires a shot through a window into a character's forehead. Blood splatters onto the camera lens, incredibly realistic
  • In a disturbing religious scene, a seemingly paralyzed family member picks up a gardening tool and stabs a character in the stomach. Instead of helping the wounded character, the rest of the family watches as another member stabs the character to death with a letter opener.
  • Two men struggle for a gun until it goes off, killing one of them. Blood is shown as it sprays onto a wall after the man is shot in one side and through the other, before he collapses and dies.
  • In Series 3, we see a man eat another womans flesh which has been cooked.
  • A dozen characters are locked in a closet and it is implied that the closet is about to be set alight.
  • A man's skull is caved inwards after a suitcase is dropped from a balcony and lands on his head.
  • A dead body is seen, having been drowned to death in a bathtub.
  • A character is poisoned and dies; later, another character is forced to cut chunks from their flesh and eat it. Upon realization what they have done, they place a gun in their own mouth and fire, causing blood to splatter everywhere.
  • A woman is shot in the head, causing her to collapse into an armchair. Later, while her killer is shooting at another person, she is shot in the head a second time.
  • A person is tripped and hits their head slams against a bathroom sink, killing them. Blood is seen on the sink and around the head.
  • A character is stabbed in the back of the neck with a sharp screwdriver. Not bloody but very sudden
  • A wooden plank with a nail in it falls and impales through a character's head.
  • A character has a sheet placed around their head before their head is bashed in with a wooden chair. As their bloody body begins to crawl away, they are placed in a guillotine that is pushed onto the back of their neck, suffocating them until it eventually cuts through their neck and decapitates them.
  • A person is stabbed in the neck and the bleeding wound is then sucked by a vampire.
  • One of the narrators, who is a major character, suddenly has her throat slit. She violently bleeds to death.
  • A person is impaled through the stomach using a sharp trophy.
  • A man is strangled and suffocated with a plastic sheet. This is quite lengthy and sudden.
  • A man suffers from a heart attack and collapses. He is soon revealed to be alive but is quickly smothered with a pillow; the death isn't shown.
  • A woman is seen killing herself; she drags a large kitchen knife across her throat and bleeds out.
  • A suicide victim's corpse is seen with blood splattering on the walls.
  • A person's scarf is caught on a hook and they fall through the floor, where they are hanged to death by the scarf. Very sudden and lengthy
  • An extended scene of a man being smothered to death with a pillow. This is extremely sudden and disturbing as it is fully shown
  • A person's leg is sawed off with a power saw. The second goriest scene of the entire series as the camera doesn't cut away
  • A man is hit in the head with a hammer, killing him.
  • A woman's head graphically explodes while she is in a glass booth, causing blood and brain matter to splatter onto the glass. By far the goriest and most unexpected moment of the series

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Episode 5 shows a man drinking vodka in the dressing room acting very drunk.
  • Episode 5 season 2 a woman is shown sneaking some sort of alcoholic beverage and consuming is making her intoxicated and making a scene

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man locks shut a wardrobe full of people and sets it alight. The credits appear before we see anything in detail. episode 2: 2 men are seen shot in the head very surprising could be disturbing episode 3:the whole episode is about a homeless man taking over a regular working mans life and is pushed to kill him but thinking he is a hallucination it turns out his wife is dead
