Nice movie

Warning: Spoilers
The iconic Bollywood actor Dharmendra ji finally has his web debut. His efforts are fruitful. You always make an impressive appearance on film. All of the episodes in the show are better because of him. In addition, Naseeruddin Shah is a someone to watch. He hasn't lost any of his cool or easygoing demeanor. Social media has exploded with reactions to the series, including the above and more. Yet, I think there was room for improvement in the story telling. It's possible that not everyone needs to see it. Yet Dharmendra fans can't afford to miss it. Those who support Naseeruddin Shah might be accused of the same thing. As a result, you should like it very much.

Excellent reliability as a screen presence. The moment he enters the frame, the show becomes exciting again. Remember the name Naseeruddin Shah as well. His confidence and charisma are still intact. In addition, the series has become a social media phenomenon. But, I think the plot might have been stronger. In the end, it may not be a must-see for everyone. But, devotees of Dharmendra shouldn't miss this. It's possible to say the same thing about Naseeruddin Shah supporters. The Mughal dynasty and related themes in Bollywood are, to be frank, drama-driven. Still, it's funny, so it's not a waste of time.

Rule No One

Its a poignant tale about care giver and her Alzheimer patient.

Amazing short film, controlled story telling. Naseruddin shah, rasika duggal playing their part well as patient and caretaker to perfection. In less than 25 minutes One gets a birds eyeview of a life of a patient with Alzheimer and the caretaker.

Reminds me of my grandmother who had it. She used to forget people, suddenly demanded to know who they were and what they were doing there. Sometimes remembered old things was nostalgic, angry and would go through the entire emotion roller-coaster.

This is about all that and more, but wait for the twist.

Who takes care of who.

honesty to yourself

For me, the basic motif for see this short film was the presence in cast of Nasreeddin Shah. Not only for acting virtues but for special air of the films having him as part. The Broken Table is not an exception.

It is one of Indian short films not telling a story but reminding pieces of others. And proposing a sort of advise, in fair, gentle, precise manner.

A film about love and honesty to yourself, about a missunderstanding and a day near a venerable ex lawyer, affected by dementia, who gives to his karegiver, confunded with a client, a precious perspective about marriage essence.

In short, just a beautiful film.

OVERALL HOUSEFULL MOVIE.

GOOD EXPERIENCE AND MONEY WORTH.

Memory cannot be divided or erased completely. While the reality of Alzheimer's disease is nightmarish for those living with the condition on a daily basis, selective amnesia is an even more dangerous thing for the human consciousness. It can evoke extreme emotions from violence to despondency and despair to delirium. Caught in the vortex of fractured dementia and phased cognitive impairment, director Chintan Sarda's recently released short film titled, The Broken Table gives a healing perspective on human beings battling emotional conundrum. Starring Naseeruddin Shah and Rasika Dugal, this 23-minute film highlights the inadequacy of usual, matter-of-fact human responses to psychological crises stemming from the absence of communication, clarity, and compassion in relationships.

Giridhar (Naseeruddin Shah), a retired divorce lawyer, is beginning to show early signs of Alzheimer's disease, and his family decides to appoint a caregiver so that he is not left to his own devices when there is no one around to take care of him. Otherwise, as his daughter-in-law remarks, 'Dad is functional.' Enter Deepti (Rasika Dugal), an M. A. psychology student, who cannot contain her 'excitement' at the prospect of meeting her first 'live subject' of study. Assuring Giri's family members, who are on their way to a wedding, of her credentials, Deepti begins her duty hours as a caregiver to an Alzheimer's patient who has been restless and fidgety for the last few days. What follows is a one-day journey into the inner landscape of a person whose failing memory ends up unlocking several closed doors of the past.

Giri has been desperately trying to reach out to his wife Prabha, who seems to have disappeared without giving her husband an idea of her return. Even her phone is out of network area. Giri, scuttling across the past and present, keeps talking about going to an urgent hearing, a hearing that happened years ago. Time and space are all mixed up in Giri's mind. On better days, he can recognise his son and be convinced that he is uselessly fretting over a done-and-dusted court hearing. On other days, Giri feels like a caged bird who is not allowed to go outside the main gate of his house. He calls it 'illegal confinement.'
