A badly beaten young female corpse is found in a dumpster behind a Stuttgart bio-supermarket, where branch manager Klara Beil has explicit instructions to 'do something about' regular nocturnal raids on the containers, to recuperate edible food that was disposed as policy. Containing is practiced by both homeless and 'dumpster divers' on principal. The victim is identified as well-groomed Jennifer Sommer, an orphan who left guardian-uncle Julian von Schönhausen's villa a year ago, dropping out of college and moving in with anti-capitalist environmental activist Onno Baumgarten, whom a trap proves prone to violence, suspecting Klara Beil of the murder. Jo Stoll and Martina Seiffert find Julian owns the bio-chain and like Onno hid having been on the murder site. Jo arrests Klara, who admits having hit with a baseball bat. Chief Kaiser refuses to disqualify himself as too close to homeless witness Paul Lehmann, is former banker who saved him but not himself from bankruptcy, on whose clothes the victim's blood is found. Rico finds the bio-chain imported Ukrainian products and sold them as regional produce.
