An incredible film
shashi-bhumi29 July 2014
An incredible film or you can say theatrical visualization of our emotions, our life, our socio-economic scenario………there is nostalgic touch to loneliness, sense of belongingness & loss of identity. Somehow ……somewhere people like us undergoing through this. There is reflection of many unsolved questions...... pain of migration.

Probably this is first film in India thru crowd funding and first film from Bihar getting released by PVR Directors Rare. Very young and talented film maker from Bihar Pawan K Shrivastava is going to make history thru this film. I am speechless. There is one song in this film "Neek nahi lage". I have listened this song more than hundred times in last two days..... der is unbearable agony of emigrants. Hats off to u Pawan and many blessings.... good wishes to you and your crew member.

We are able to watch film like this after many decades having pure essence of profound language like BHOJPURI.

A Vision towards Migration
kamaljeet11114 August 2014
The Movie "Naya Pata" is based on migration of people from one place to another in search of Identity or Someone can say it is based on 'Lost Identity of migrants'.

People go to another place in search of job, struggles for their lives. Somehow, they manage to live at new place because there is no way to go back and run their livelihood. In some societies, staying in big cities/metro instead of own place is like status symbol. But, the people who is staying at their native place never understand the pain of a migrant who has lost his identity at own place and it take years to understand new culture and make a new identity.

It's first crowd sponsored movie in India and language chosen was Bhojpuri (Mainly spoken in North Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh). The part of India, from most migrants you can find throughout India.

The way directors and crew members has represented, it is heart touching. A true vision for an developing country migrants!

Must Watch
