Warning: Spoilers
Though I enjoyed the exchange between Eddie and Nucky, this season starts off with an episode that drags along. Two new actors, one of them a new character signal that casting isn't going to be strong. Brian Geraghty is introduced as a new prohibition agent. Geraghty is a poor choice for this cast. He keeps his lips pursed while he speaks his lines. He's also a very bad actor, as you've seen with his role on Sons of Anarchy.

Changing the actor portraying Will Thompson is a disappointment. What was wrong with Kevin Csolak? He was a good Will Thompson. Now we have Ben Rosenfield, playing "Willie", changing Will into the diminutive, Willie, signals a change for the worse in the storyline.

So far, it's still unclear what is happening to my favorite characters in the story, but it's early yet. Richard's homecoming to Plover is a little sad. The killings he did on the way home make me think that he isn't really coming home to stay. His sister is an interesting character; strong and somewhat cheerful under a gruff surface.

Whatever season 4 turns into, at least it isn't season 3.
