I was 12 when i started watching DMG, I didn't even knew the meaning of flirting, Loving, having a girlfriend, this show taught me to how to love, how to make your girl happy, how to tease her... I never missed any episode until the season 1st finale then it became boring... The chemistry between Armaan and Riddhima was amazing, Don't know why they replaced her: (. The show even had beautiful music tracks like 'asmani rang ho' and 'ishq leta hai kaise imteha'. I always wanted to have a girlfriend like Riddhima,She was so adorable! I wish they remake the serial! Armaan was my inspiration for all my time in school and then medical school.. I kind of copied him always. The only Hindi TV show i've ever liked! Didn't watched season 2 but my friends told it sucked... So didn't watched!

When tv was ruling by Saas-Bahu shows and so called family dramas, Dmg brought a breath of fresh air where all the characters held radial importance. Dmg changed the meaning of friendship and help us to learn what is love. There are multiple reasons the show still remembered by people, one of the best reason is KaSh (Karan Singh Grover and Shilpa Anand). Their chemistry was fire. I have never seen such a chemistry anywhere.

Would have given 10 if the makers haven't removed shilpa for their ego. After shilpa, this series started going south . Can't believe the makers thought it was a good idea to remove her . She was the perfect Riddhima and the makers removing her is pathetic.
And then the makers thought it waa perfectly fine for them marry Riddhima with sid . What the hell are makers even thinking . God knows these pathetic decision made me hate this show . Armaan and Riddhima love story started from hate to love and my story with this seriel started from love to hate . I really hope that the makers would have any sense of what they were doing .
In the end I just want to say SHILPA is LOOOVEEEE.

I used to watch the show because of Original Armaan Riddhima ( Karan Singh Grover and Shilpa Anand) and their amazing chemistry. Due to problem with production house when Original Riddhima (Shilpa Anand) had quit, I lost my interest from the show. In 2010, when Shilpa Anand comeback in Dmg because of fan demands, I started to watch the show again.

I was a kid when dill mill gayye first aired on tv and changed my life for good. Karan Singh Grover And Shilpa Anand as Armaan Riddhima were the best thing about the show. They made me understand what is real chemistry. Dr. Atul, Dr. Anjali, Dr. Rahul, Dr. Muskaan, Dr. Kirti, Dr. Shubhankar, Dr. Sapna and Nana all of them were unique characters. But Only thing I hated about the show was change of Dr. Riddhima. 2nd Riddhima and 3rd Riddhima were disappointing and they somehow managed to ruin the originality of Riddhima's character.

What Made Dill Mill Gayye a cult classic?
Dill Mill Gayye, love it or hate it, you cannot exactly ignore it, even today Dill Mill Gayye is relevant and people talk about it. A certain section of audience adores it, and has nostalgia attached to it, while a certain section of the audience feels the show was childish and even refer to it as "clowns mill gayye."
Now while the show Dill Mill Gayye (DMG) may not be the best show in terms of content and realism it is interesting how only this show is mocked by a certain section of people, I think it is a very easy target since the show did see huge amount of popularity. Another reason why Dill Mill Gayye is an easy target for criticiam is because the show was essentially based on Doctors, and I think it is harder to forgive showing mindless stuff in a medical drama then it is in a normal saas-bahu saga. Regardless of the criticism the show gets one cannot deny it's hysteria.
Dill Mill Gayye came out on 20th August 2007, it was a spin off to a successful medical drama called Sanjeevani. Dill Mill Gayye saw instant success, with TRPS going well above and beyond any show ever aired in the history of the channel Star One. This show was extremely popular amongst the youth, and again was a welcome change from all the saas-bahu saagas.
Not only the show but even the actors became mammoth stars, especially the lead hero of the show Karan Singh Grover. The hysteria his character Dr Armaan Malik saw is a rarity on Indian TV, he literally became a youth icon. The kind of craze he saw was unimaginable, one time Dr Armaan gave out a made up telephone number on TV, and so many fan girls actually called that number and ended up harassing a businessman. Karan Singh Grover also claimed that he got around 600 calls a day from fan girls. If that was not enough when he worked with Priyanka Chopra for a reality show even she acknowledged the hysteria that surrounded him. One may wonder what is so good about the show and Karan Singh Grover that created so much hysteria, so let's get right into it. Let's start from the beginning, first thing first, Dill Mill Gayye was one of the very few Indian TV shows that catered to the youth, so the youth latched onto it pretty hard. It was one of the very few Indian shows that had such a handsome and charming leading man aka Dr Armaan/Karan Singh Grover. It was one of the very few shows that showed something in regards to Doctors. It was one of the very few shows that brought in laughs and gave a very warm and happy feeling to the audience. Last but not the least it created an amazing love story between Dr Armaan Malik (KSG) and Dr Riddhima (Shilpa Anand). There are a lot of factors that made the love story of Armaan and Riddhima a compelling one, at least until they confess their feelings for one another. Armaan's attraction to Riddhima is obvious right from the start. Right from the beginning of the show Armaan starts playfully bullying Riddhima, and it is obvious the bullying is occurring because he is extremely attracted to her. Riddhima's naïve nature also makes her an easy prey for him. What makes it interesting is that Armaan doesn't let his feelings show, or maybe Riddhima is naïve enough to not realise them. Armaan falls quite hard for the naiveness and the kindness Riddhima possesses, and the glitter in his eyes when he gets a reaction out of her is quite priceless to watch. What makes the love story even more compelling is that while Riddhima is naïve she is not the kind who goes without a fight, and on every step of the way she answers back to Armaan's pranks, which makes for a fun watch. The most compelling part of the love story is when Armaan tries to get Riddhima to confess her feelings for him but Riddhima does not budge no matter how hard he tries, and no matter how hard she has fallen for him. This part of the love story brought the most amazing and intense scenes and brought the best love confession scene I have seen on Indian TV. One has to watch to see what I mean, it is not something that I can describe in words. Unfortunately after the love confession the show went haywire, and the makers pretty much lost the plot, but since the show was so popular and was bringing in money the show got extended for no good reason. Later Shilpa Anand aka Dr Riddhima also left, and the show started its journey on a downward spiral in terms of content. None the less it still stayed a show which people could watch for a good laugh and to see youthful actors having fun, hence the show managed to stay afloat for another 2 years. Inspite of the not so amazing content, inspite of replacements and an overstretched story the show is still considered a cult classic, because it did get a lot right in terms of the entertainment factor, it was a fun happy go lucky show. Best Indian TV show ever totally different from crappy Indian soap operas this is the only Indian daily soap i loved DR.Armaan aka Karan is hats off the best actor in the Indian TV industry. Armaan Riddhima is the most amazing and pure couple ever even with 3 actresses people still love them because of their passionate love story and the whole gang is hilarious and love their friendship specially muskaan Rahul fights Nana's over acting and atul armaan and rahul's bond and Dr shubankar is hilarious too this is the only show which made me cry so much felt so bad for Armaan in Season 2.The ending of the show was perfect but wished that some stories was completed too i wish guys like Dr Armaan existed in real life too he was the most perfect and inspiring character Ever there can be no other person who can love like Armaan loves Riddhima and all his sacrifices for his love and his friends.Love you Dr Armaan Malik best Indian TV character ever made!

As the title suggests, the show was one of a kind.
It carried with it, this unique charm but unfortunately they couldn't carry that charm for long.
I loved all the characters and feel that they all deserved conspicuous screen space and character development.
Although Sukirti and Jennifer did their best and were really good I, personally lost interest when Shilpa left the show. Around 150th episode, they lost the plot completely.
Towards the end of the show, I feel Riddhima acted as an antagonist. She was indecisive and that proved to be unfair to Siddhant and Armaan both. Her indecisiveness gave Armaan and Siddhant false hopes.
A show may have as many episodes as long as they are on track. They stretched the show and episodes unnecessarily.
It's high time that Indian directors realise that slowing down the pace of the show per episode creates boredom and not suspense.
I gave 8 out of 10 stars to this show as it is close to my heart and for its promising nature initially. I really wished they didn't ruin DMG...

Atul and armaan ki friendship. In dino ki comic timing we missed so much. And the one and only armaan-riddhima Jodi. We want to see their Jodi /love story every single day. They are awesome. First 164 episodes were 🔥. But just after the original Riddhima aka Shilpa goes ,,, the show becomes horrible. The 2nd, 3rd Riddhima just ruined this epic show. We just want original armaan - Riddhima Jodi. ❤
Is show ko dekhkar bahut positive vibes aati thi aur ab bhi aati. Mujhe serials dekhna bilkul psnd nhi h,,,but this was mixture pure veg light-hearted comedy, pure love, romance no bkwas no time pass wala show tha.
This show was armaan -riddhima's show the kash show. But the ruined because kash are sidelined . Ye show sirf aur sirf armaan-riddhima ka show tha aur makers ne unka hi Dhyan nhi rkha to logon ko ye psnd aaya aur dheere dheere show bnd hone ki kagaar pr aa gya.
Show ki downside 1st season me Riddhima ke Jane se hi shuru ho gyi thi.
Nothing to say about. Words can't justify this show. So makers please bring this masterpiece back on TV.... It's our emotions and if it comes it will megahit show remember this..

DMG will always be my favourite show. Love the chemistry between Ksg & Shilpa. I was in 7th std when this show got aired 20 Augast 2007. There is a lot of school memory's wth this show but i stopped watching DMG after shilpa's exit from the show. How badly i wanted to watch karan karan shilpa's interview Karan Shilpa Hittttt Differently. Shilpa who literally gave birth to the character of Dr. Riddhima. Shilpa had all the qualities that define ridhhima and the most super handsome & popular Karan singh grover. Ksran and shilpa is heart of Dill mill gayye. Even in 2023 nobody can match their iconic chemistry...

I used to watch this show as a teenager and I enjoy watching it even today. That says a lot about its appeal. But now I'm watching only after the entry of my favorite Karan Wahi - the cute and funny Dr. Siddhant Modi. Sid was hilarious but after his marriage with Ridzi, he became too serious. Sweet & innocent Tamanna was best for Sid. I also love the Sid-Armaan duo - some of the Sidmaan scenes are hysterically funny. The makers ruined this show with the whole Sid-Riddhima marriage track. They showed so much romance brewing between Sid and Ridhima, got them married twice, only to get divorced in the end! And they made Shilpa come back when she wasn't even supposed to end up with Armaan! But DMG keeps 90s kids hooked even today.

Like any other daily show it's different and the best thing about the show is it's lead actors.kudos to kaSh whom noone can match till date. The story also run with them without any stagnation.it will not only energize the gen Z but will be a treat to the eyes! The best thing about the show is it's happening actors and unconventional treatment. Any other daily hardly match up what DMG in the first few episodes had achieved. We as an audience need to take the down memory lane walk once more and that's what expecting. Bring the magic with the original cast on the screen back and spread the Vibes once again!

I used to watch this show as a teenager. Shilpa was the best Riddhima - bholi si surat, aankhon mein masti aur shararat. The other two Riddhima were pretty, no doubt, but unme wo original Riddhima wali baat bilkul nahi thi. They made Riddhima boring. DMG just wasn't the same without Shilpa.
I've been rewatching DMG on Hotstar, but after the entry of my favorite Karan Wahi - the super cute, adorable, and funny Dr. Siddhant Modi.☺ Sid-Armaan scenes are among my favorites. Some of the Sidmaan scenes are hilarious.😁 I wish Sid had ended up with the sweet and innocent Tamanna. The whole Sid-Riddhima marriage track was silly. If the makers wanted Armaan and Ridhima to end up together (which they should have), why did they show so much romance brewing between Sid and Ridhima and get them married twice, only to get divorced in the end? 😕 The only good thing about it was that it gave us JeRan.❤ And then they made Shilpa come back when she wasn't even supposed to end up with Armaan!
