What Hot Mess!

We used to really like this show...lots of great action and solid storyline with compelling topical issues: diversity, social justice, gender, etc.

This episode was a waste of time, and inaccurate treatment of gun training by Hondo to his PREGNANT girlfriend was so ridiculous 🙄 and terrifying...he did not explain gun safety protocol (not even what KIND of gun) and no eye or head protection either. The kickback alone is scary for a newbie but a pregnant person even more dangerous.

Then, don't get me started on Deac...this guy is a piece of work! After teaching his son to box since they suspect he is being bullied at school, he proceeds to blast his son for attacking a kid and quotes Matthew from the Bible about not fighting. Make up your mind, dude! This poor kid is give mixed messages, almost as bad as Hondo's lack of training his girlfriend. The S. W. A. T. team are becoming atrocious role models for their families and the public. Embarrassing!

So many flaws

The stand out flaws are Honda and Michelle at gun range. No eye protection and no ear protection.

Not sure about shooting at range while pregnant There are issues with inhaling the airborne residue and I wonder about the concussion of gun shot. People where ear protection and although the fetus is surrounded by fluid I think there would be reverberation issues. I don't believe it is recommended.

Although interesting concept of filling avocados with drugs, so many possibilities: imagine how much you fit in a pineapple which is easily closed up and could be resealed without visual notice.giving drug runners ideas !

Pure irresponsible gun handling

The show has tackled many different issues over its many seasons and in this episode it addressed bullying, christian values and gun ownership. As much as the show tried to reflect the personal choice of owning a gun for personal defense safety, the VERY irresponsible way that Hondo tried to show Michele to handle a weapon including the lack of any proper safety gear including eye and hearing protection is just wrong. Responsible gun ownership is smart and educated gun ownership. If you are going to tackle sensitive issues in this crazy world then you should do so with facts and proper techniques.

make it make sense

So like everybody has said.. the flaws at the gun range.. it didnt make any sense.. I remember seeing Shemar moore doing some gun practicing on some youtube channel.. the same channel that has keanu doing some practice runs..

anyway.. what was that story with the food truck.. so the mom is asking luka for help and instead of hiring someone else to do it, he goes on about not having the same excitiment for it anymiore? Because he didnt feel unity with the team anymore. What???

He doesnt want to make money??

Deacon with kid? So you teach your son to box but didnt want your kid to mess the other up??

And i noticed when they were talking to the girl at the hospitall... lol officer Cabrera.. is not the same as the rookie that street was babysitting...no reason was giving was she was replacing powell on ep 8 and 9... ok then was there a reason why the other.
