First off, my Spanish improved watching this. A lot.
It's an interesting premise, but it got lost on a mother who truly thought only of herself and to get what she wanted, when she wanted it. Everyone else be damned. Children included.
She found wonderful people who she found way to take advantage of and ruin their day.
And it's done with large doses of slapstick by two of the main characters which went out of style for obvious reasons.
She thinks nothing of stealing when she has what she needs already. She's great at building herself up while belittling other people - loudly.
The ending is contrived. And I didn't care. I just didn't care. I felt sad for her kids, but literally nothing for her.
Is it worth watching? Mixa moxa. Yes, if you want to improve your Spanish. (That earned it an extra star.)
