- The title song "Love Never Dies" was originally titled "The Heart is Slow to Learn", which was first sung in 1998 by Kiri Te Kanawa at the "Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Royal Albert Hall Celebration" show.
The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
The melody of "Journey to the Cemetery" from the Phantom film was later reflected in the song "Beneath the Moonless Sky" from Love Never Dies. Christine's father in the Phantom film and Christine's son in Love Never Dies both share the same given name, Gustave."The South Bank Show" 2009 Awards (TV Episode 2010)
The first public performance of the song, officially titled, "Love Never Dies" was sung by Sierra Boggess in January to promote the premiere of the 2010 musical.
