Full Moon creator Charles Band is the guest in this interview and I guess one could say he was this generation's Roger Corman in terms of producing one movie after another. The low-budget nature of the films is something that is discussed as Band talks about the downfalls of a low-budget but also some of the good things including final cut. There's some interesting talk about why stores like Blockbuster were so important and why you had to please them or else you wouldn't have a place for the movies to go. Other topics include the proper type of marketing and Band discusses how he came up with the PUPPET MASTER series, which includes a very successful toy line. I was really impressed with the interview here as Band comes across as a very smart guy who knows what he wants and how to get it. I found the stuff dealing with the direct-to-video market to be very interesting as was his thought on where he wanted to go in the future.
