I have no idea why this show has such high ratings. Sure, it's cool that they take you to parts of Korea ...but that only lasts a few minutes, too much of the show is made of people who are decidedly NOT Korean attempting "Asian Fusian" with dishes that frankly seem more American than Asian.
I found this show disappointing, it seems like a crap attempt to name-drop or show off their famous friends. Why is Heather Graham in this? Why is everyone besides the woman who was born in SK (but raised in the US, and is obviously half African-American) a rich white person?
It honestly makes no sense to show people Korean street food then spend half the show or more on "here's a hot dog topped with kimchi" or "here's a Maine lobster roll with a tiny bit of spice to seem Asian."
