Death Roll

While the Anchor-Ferrers are still being terrorised by the fake cops. The real Honey and Molina turn up at the property.

They are actual cops which puts the fake Molina in a frenzy. Someone is playing a twisted game and it is not just on the Anchor-Ferrers.

Meanwhile Jack Caffrey has entered a world of cults. He thinks he has got closer to Bones as the man in a hazmat suit. Only to have the rug pulled under him.

For Jack it is another blind alley and he ends up wrestling with fake crocodiles.

Writer Megan Gallagher is trying to do justice with Mo Hayder's novel. You can just tell this is an adaptation of complex psychological novel.

I just knew there was a tell in the previous episode and it came to fruition here. There was a reveal about Molina but not about his background. It also meant there might be more twists to come in the finale.

This was an exceptional episode.

Honey and Molina have to think on their toes when they get a knock on the front door.

Tantalising, tense, complex and intensely macabre, this third episode served up a treat of humour, horror and mind blowing drama, The BBC seems once again seems to have found its spark when it comes to drama.

It's a complex story, but you have to give credit to those behind the screenplay and script, they've made it pretty straightforward and comprehensible. This could have easily become overly complex and unfathomable, instead it's become utterly addictive.

Well that really was a disturbing opening scene, they haven't held back for a second, scenes worthy of a horror movie.

Sacha Dhawan and Iwan Rheon, what can you say, I thought the pair of them were absolutely terrific here, madcap acting at its finest, talk about two genuine national treasures.

Who exactly is Bones, what's going on with the snakes.....why is this so good?

Can't wait for episode 6.

9/10.
