As It Was by Harry Styles is a song about how things are now not as great as things used to be. This music video I like mostly for how I find the beat of the song catchy and for how relatable I find the message of the song. While the song does get a little upbeat towards the end the song is mostly depressing with how the song tells us that even if we're happy now we might not be as happy as we were when we were younger. Ever since I turned 13 some of my happiness has slowly faded away and I feel like it might not ever come back permanently. Maybe its because I have Chronic Boredom or Depression but I like that I'm not the only person that feels this way. I also think the visuals for the music video are pretty good mostly for how colorful it is, and some of the positions you see the people pose in them give me a certain type of artistic feeling that I can only describe as pretty. In a similar way to how I think nature and some piano music is pretty. Overall this is a song I would recommend to anyone who feels like they feel less happy when getting older because this song will validate that feeling.

A story of loneliness and need of love. Part shocking, part fascinating. And the same Harry Styles, reminding, in a manner easy eccentric, basic truths. Simple, precise, seductive and just charming. But, more important, provocative for a form of honesty beautiful assumed by Styles.
