We are told that Sgt Heath was 35 in 1961 so would have been only 19 when WW2 ended, yet he wears 4 WW2 medal ribbons, extremely unlikely at best; one of the medals is the Defence Medal, which required 3 years' service; award of it to Heath is impossible. PC Edgerton, clearly even younger than Sgt Heath, has 5 WW2 medal ribbons which he could not possibly have earned.
