TheWrap can exclusively share a savage look into the return of “Kitchen Nightmares” on Fox. In the clip, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has some prime insults for a diner that’s attempting fine dining.
This time around, the restaurant Ramsay is taking under his wing is a diner. The second he lays eyes on his plate of coq au vin, he looks both scared and disappointed. A braised chicken dish, the French recipe is typically made with red wine, onions, garlic, butter and mushrooms. Basically, it’s the exact opposite of what you would expect from a place known for BLTs and fries.
“Oh my Lord, this chicken wasn’t cooked in the last 24 hours,” Ramsay says in the clip. After taking a single bite, he declares the dish a “slurry of s–t.”
The homemade tortellinis don’t fare much better. “Why would anyone attempt to do something that...

On any given episode of Paramount Network’s “Bar Rescue,” the establishments featured are in a catastrophic state of disrepair: awash in grime, bugs, rotted food and/or mysterious stains. The surroundings are matched by the decay of their owners, who have no idea how to run a business.
Enter the show’s tough-talking but big-hearted host, Jon Taffer, a nightlife veteran whose extensive resume includes running legendary L.A. hotspot The Troubadour in the early ’80s and being one of the first inductees of the Nightclub Hall of Fame. Although Taffer is often met with resistance from flailing bar owners who think they know everything, he’s never turned down people who need help.

When bar expert Jon Taffer, the reality tv star of Bar Rescue, arrives on the scene, you already know a failing bar doesn’t have much time to turn things around. Most episodes start when an inexperienced bar owner calls Jon for help before having to close their doors for good.
In just a few days, Taffer and his team work tirelessly to turn the bar around, sometimes giving it a new name, a complete remodel, and a brand new menu.
