Only occasionally worth the watch Warning: Spoilers
"Ausgerechnet Sex!" is a 90-minute television comedy movie from 4 years ago. The lead character is played by Valerie Niehaus, who has been in many not-so-great film in her career already. Admittedly, this is not among her worst, but that does not make it a fine movie either. Other semi-known actors are Beck and von Lüttichau. The story is basically: A man dies and his widow finds out he was producing porn movies secretly. After initial anger and disgust, she continues his work, while, at the same time, she joins a group of parents worried about their children downloading porn movies. Of course, sooner or later, it had to come out what she is doing and also as expected she falls in love with Beck's character. Sadly, this is a very generic movie all in all. I wish they could have done without that stupid love story plot and all the pseudo drama coming with it. It's a bit of a pity as the film's script at times shows there was potential for something fairly memorable, but it really does not last long. It's like the transvestite in this film. Funny, but also over the top and then unfunny. All the porn-related humor is sometimes funny, sometimes embarrassingly unfunny.

The film's director has a long history of television filmmaking just like Niehaus. The film's writer does not, but worked on Schweiger and Striesow theaters release movies in the past, so his career has certainly gone south. One of the funniest moments was when the women were in the DVD store and they were checking porn titles. Pretty hilarious stuff there I'd rather not repeat in case younger people are reading this. This (very pro-porn) movie is not as bad as its cringeworthy title suggests, but it's not particularly good either. Not recommended.
