The best part of Monday morning.
Even if they are very short episodes, I absolutely love Richard Hammond's Tech Head. Richard's humor and attitude are extremely contagious and always leave you with a huge smile. His perspective on technology is above all things, easy to relate to; I am not a technological expert or even a gadget enthusiast, but Hammond's way of stating the plain truth about modern inventions - in all of their brilliance and stupidity - makes me laugh every time, and I always feel like I know what he's talking about and agree with him heartily.
I do hope that this web-show can back a bigger appearance one day, perhaps on television, but as an American, I am glad that it is currently on YouTube, since I do not receive several of Hammond's other shows here "across the pond" on BBC America.
"Teach head" is hilarious, and a real representation of the more ironic aspects of modern life and invention. Watching Hammond get flustered or confused by his own word, going off on countless "rabbit trails", and basically thinking out loud and re-considering his own points and examples is half of the fun. And the rest is realizing how extremely right he is about the genius or lack thereof in everyday gadgets and techno-fueled social behavior. To cap all of this off, the Hamster himself has got to be one of the cutest people in the entire world.
Anyone who is a fan of technology, humor, British accents, or Top Gear needs to watch this web-show.
