David Díaz enjoyed filming the car chase so much that at end of a take he shouted "I feel like Steven Spielberg!".
David Hernández wanted to do a sequel of his short film "Lawrence Jones y el Bastón de Mando". He recruited David Díaz to help him make it. Just one month before the beginning of the shooting, the original actor who played Lawrence Jones said he wasn't available to shoot. David Díaz asked David Hernández if he could play the role as well. David eventually took the part.
Rufus Peabody was originally played by David Hernández's cousin. Jorge Guimerá was on Tenerife during the making of the short film. David Díaz asked him to play a cameo role as one of Rufus Peabody's thugs. Jorge agreed. A few days before the shooting of Rufus first scene, due to schedule problems with David's cousin, David Díaz convinced David to replace him with Jorge. The same night before the shooting David Díaz called Jorge to offer him the role of Rufus.
Shot with one camera.
