I've been internally vindicating this season's online backlash in regards to plot holes, erasure of storylines, etc. I liked the chaotic atmosphere and beautiful theatrical nonsense for the most part, even feeling it was way more shock value oriented than season one.
With that said this season finale just falls flat. It just doesn't go with the mood of the season. The "big scenes" were so much anticipated and ended up feeling kinda emotionless. The long dialogue/singing scenes sure had a lot of words but didn't say much other than what we already know.
Love the show, expecting a little more accuracy, less character erasures and minimal structure for the 3d season.
