Warning: Spoilers
Peter Carson wants to expose the truth about the Jenner clinic.

The government forces are out to discredit him and at least try to persuade him to toe the line.

Schaffer thinks that Carson might be a murderer. Forester wants his revenge.

Then there are two kids left alone with the Chimera in a farm.

The hybrid fantasy conspiracy thriller concludes and there can only be one outcome for the creature. The rest is very much in keeping with the 1980s/early 90s conspiracy movies. Not much of an internet in those days, evidence had to be shifted in the post. Not a problem for the government to intercept. It is a bit of a downer of an ending.

Chimera might have acquired a cult following. This was a slow moving thriller. I had previously seen the cut down movie version and that had jettisoned much of the first episode.

It really had to much excess meat that had to be butchered.

All loose ends tied up, in a satisfying conclusion.

Peter Carson continues to try to expose the cover up at The Jenner Institute, but the Authorities are keen to stop him.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series, and this final episode does it justice, no wonder this show is so fondly remembered by many, it's been an engrossing watch, and for 1991, a time where anything remotely sci fi based was ignored, this hit the spot.

The flashback sequence really helped, it answered one of the big questions I'm sure most of us had, how did he get out?

Chad's makeup was spot on for the time, really good design and execution, I thought he looked rather good.

John Lynch was very good I thought, and I really rated Christine Kavanagh in this final episode.

It was well worth the wait.

8/10.
