. . . six-line poem. The 1960 television version of LITTLE JACK HORN-ER, broadcast as "Bullwinkle's Corner" during Episode 9 of The Bullwinkle Show on Thursday, Jan. 14, is more succinct, delivering its interpretation in a mere 61 seconds. According to Bullwinkle, Jack Horn-er referred to Crown Prince Ralph, heir apparent to the British throne in 1725. Lacking the patience to wait for King George, his dad, to expire from natural causes, Ralph sat in a corner of the palace with his "Christmas Pie," or time bomb. However, as he tried to set the timer for the hour his dad spent every evening reigning on the throne of a nearby loo, wires got tangled around his thumb. When Ralph snatched his hand away, the "plum" or detonator came with it. This lent a touch of irony to Ralph's last words, "Oh, what a good boy am I!" which preceded his self-implosion.
