Director Nicholas Bushman flew to Rick Rossovich's home in Stockholm, Sweden to convince him to take the lead role.
Bill Pullman was considered for the role of Ronnie McCubbing.
The old house where Rick Rossovich's character lives was actually director Nicholas Bushman's own great-grandmother's house. Bushman had conceived the script to partially take place there as it worked well for the location, and would also help keep the budget down.
Feature acting debut of Mike Dwyer, who had been making short films with Nicholas Bushman since they were in middle school together.
Upon its release, this was Rick Rossovich's first film in nearly a decade. His last film before this, Artworks (2003), was also filmed in Ohio.
